About Cornerstone Construction
Located in historic Front Royal, Cornerstone Construction has served the Shenandoah Valley area and beyond since it was established in 2005. As a family owned and operated business we take pride in our craftsmanship and bring integrity and honesty to every project.
In addition to being insured and fully licensed as a class A contractor we are a member of the Home Builders Association of VA and Trex Decking Partners.
Originally from upstate New York, Chris along with his wife and kids moved to the Shenandoah Valley area in 2002. He continued to work in construction as he had done in NY until he founded Cornerstone Construction in 2004. Chris passed on his passion for carpentry and stone masonry to his sons who began helping out with labor until they got enough experience to help manage operations.
The McMahon’s pay special attention to every brick they lay, especially the cornerstone, as this stone is the is the stone that forms the base of a foundation. Two of the McMahon sons now have part ownership in the company and continue build with care and passion.”
